Other Causes of Dementia
There are many different forms of dementia all caused by different diseases, conditions, or circumstances. It is said that between 5% and 15% of people living with dementia have a rare dementia. These all cause a unique and varied set of challenges including cognitive, motor and sensory challenges. The lack of awareness and understanding of rare dementias is widespread amongst society, a lot more can be done to educate people of these conditions and help provide the support and resources needed.

University College London runs a brilliant company called Rare Dementia Support to help raise awareness and support people living with rarer forms of dementia. You can find a link to their website below.
